To book an appointment, please go to the tab that is labelled "contact." There, you will find my email address. You can email me any time in order to be placed on my waitlist. I usually respond to emails within 48 hours.
Pricing Info:
All tattoos are cash only. No cards/checks/apps will be accepted. A WECU atm is located across the street if needed, please be prepared ahead of your appointment.
Hourly rate is $160/hr, tax is already included in this price.
Deposits:
Deposits are $100 and non-refundable. Once taken, that money will go towards the total cost of the tattoo. If a reschedule is requested, it must be at a MINIMUM of 48 hours notice. The new appointment must be scheduled for the time period that my books are currently open, which is usually quarterly. Your deposit will not be affected if this is done correctly. However if a complete cancellation is requested, you no-show your appointment, or you don’t reschedule within the required deadline, all will result in a loss of your deposit.
Cover-ups:
Cover-ups will be determined on a case-by-case basis. I do not work on cover-up tattoos larger than about the palm of a hand. If it is larger than this size, I may require that you have laser removal sessions performed before a cover-up is possible.
Scar Cover-ups:
Scar cover-ups can differ greatly from one-another. An in-person consultation will provide answers to any questions that you may have.
Mastectomy Tattoos:
Tattoos will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Tattoo Drawing:
The final design will be available to view in person on the day of your actual tattoo appointment. I draw 24-48 hours before your actual tattoo appointment. This is because I draw in the order in which I am receiving tattoos, so that I am offering my full attention to each individual project. In certain cases that I would deem necessary, (such as for larger tattoo pieces), I will schedule a drawing preview for you to stop by my studio. This is usually 24-48 hrs before the appointment. However, this is not necessary for most tattoos that would not require a lot of time for editing. Care in listening is given to all clients for any necessary drawing revisions.
General Tattoo Etiquette for New Clients:
Clients must understand liberties must be taken into consideration about placement of the tattoo, such as size, details, and contrast of the final design. The tattoo will be based on your idea, but with my take on it. Please keep in mind that if you become too overly specific, it can stress out the creativity. It is also important to do your research so that you are comfortable with my work.

I pick and choose clients with ideas/themes that are best suited for my style, and those I feel a pleasant connection with. I am known for doing many looks, but if I find that another tattoo artist would be a better fit, or if the tattoo idea is unresolved, I will recommend what is necessary. Please take no offense, as this is a normal part of communicating what is best for you.

I look forward to hearing from you!
Thank You! Shelly James
